In his speech, Wang Gang extended a warm welcome to all attendees. He introduced the recent development of China Datang Energy Investment Corporation, especially the progress in the coal sector, and commended Guoyuan Mining Company for its achievements in advanced support of fully mechanized mining face tunnels. He hoped that industry colleagues would take this conference as an opportunity to actively share innovative technologies for coal mine support, explore new paths for coal enterprises to enhance support safety, and jointly promote the development and progress of the industry.

In his speech at the meeting, Sha Peng stated that over the years, Xinfeng Group has always adhered to the development philosophy of "mechanization, intelligence, and gamification of labor", and has successively developed a number of professional technical equipment for installation and removal. In recent years, the company has vigorously explored technologies and innovated equipment for advanced support and prevention of rockburst and mine earthquakes in fully mechanized mining faces, successfully developing a single-column advanced support (single-side roof cutting support). This support is transported using coal mine grab cars, achieving a large-scale, mechanical transportation system with one point and one support, which completely solves the problems of roadway roof subsidence, side shrinkage, and floor heave. He hopes to use this meeting to unite industry colleagues, summarize advanced experiences, and pool the strengths of all participants to promote the continuous advancement of advanced support in fully mechanized mining faces towards automation and intelligence.




At the meeting, Gao Mingshi, He Jie, Zhang Yin, and Zhao Peng respectively delivered keynote reports titled "New Progress in the Theory and Technical Equipment of Two-way Advance Support in Coal Mining Face", "Advance Support Technology and Application in Coal Mine Recovery Roadway", "Discussion on the Mechanism and Prevention of Advance Impact Hazard in Two Roadways of Fully Mechanized Mining Face with Rockburst", and "Optimization and Application of Advance Support in Strong Ground Pressure Working Face of Fully Mechanized Caving Mining Face in Extra-thick Coal Seam".


Director Zhang Xiwang was invited to give a technical lecture titled "Integrated Technology Exchange on Advanced Support and Expansion Installation for Two-way Advance Support in Fully Mechanized Mining Face of Coal Mines" at the meeting. Director Zhang Xiwang systematically introduced the advanced performance of the technical equipment developed by Liaoning Xinfeng Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., which includes the use of single-column advance supports for return airways, shield-type front and rear end supports for transportation ways, and sliding advance support equipment. He also elaborated on the pain points and difficulties that these technologies have solved for coal mines. The single-sided roof cutting support used in return airways has completely resolved issues such as roof subsidence, wall shrinkage, and floor heave, ensuring that the tunnel cross-sectional area meets the needs of ventilation, transportation, and other safety production requirements. It also meets the requirements of small coal pillar mining technology. Currently, this technology has been successfully applied in eight coal mines, solving the problems of advanced support in return airways, rockburst, and mine tremors, and ensuring safe and efficient production in coal mines. In the application of this technical equipment in a certain coal mine, traditional large coal pillars of 30 meters wide were replaced with small coal pillars of 8 meters wide, resulting in an increase of nearly one million tons of coal recovered. This has achieved significant safety and economic benefits. The introduction of the integrated technology equipment for expansion and installation in fully mechanized mining faces helps coal mines achieve the goal of reducing personnel, materials, and construction period while increasing coal recovery, creating new productive forces and achieving high-quality development.

Sun Shouren made a concluding speech. He pointed out that we should deepen our understanding and attach great importance to the important value of advanced support. Advanced support is the prerequisite and top priority of support, with the core being "advanced", the difficulty being "support", and the focus being "prevention". It should be placed in a key position in coal mining, focusing on new theories, technologies, equipment, and achievements in the field of advanced support to promote the safe development of the industry. We should face up to shortcomings and systematically address the practical challenges of advanced support. Currently, advanced support technology still faces multiple issues such as shortcomings in technical equipment, insufficient equipment coordination, weak adaptability to complex geological conditions, and loopholes in safety management. These issues should be highly regarded and actively promoted for resolution. He emphasized that we should make forward-looking layouts and promote the scientific development of advanced support. There is no universal model or method for advanced support, and it must be tailored to local conditions and mining strategies. We should focus on three directions: first, accelerate standardized and normalized support, promoting standardization and normalization throughout the entire process of support design, manufacturing, installation, use, and maintenance; second, accelerate automated and intelligent support, promoting the deep integration of advanced support technology and equipment with other intelligent mining technologies, developing intelligent equipment for excavation, bolting, and support, and applying advanced sensor technology and visual measurement technology; third, accelerate green support, research and develop environmentally friendly support materials, optimize support processes, reduce waste of support materials, and reduce pollution during construction.



During the meeting, the delegates visited Longwanggou Coal Mine of Guoyuan Mining Company in depth, and conducted on-site visits and extensive exchanges on the achievements of intelligent construction of the mine, as well as the advanced support technology and equipment for working faces.
